I'm a 20 something mommy of a most fabulous little person. Now I know most parents go on and on about how terrific their children are. But in my case, it is absolutely, completely, and 100% understandably vaild. Because well, he is, for lack of a better word: perfect. See!
And I live with his father, who is not my husband (hey don't judge) but still the love of my life, Handsome Man! He keeps the bills paid and the food in the fridge while I slowly but steadily earn my degree.
But before you begin to think I don't have any real friends, here they are:
This is Jess, Me and Bit One. Yes I know this is crooked. No I do not know how to fix it. No I probably won't ever learn. I've been best friends with Jess since I moved to NC in the first grade. We've had our rough patches, you know how young teenage girls are. But she was there the day Bit was born, and after a day like that (more about that later), you know who your true friends are.
These terrific ladies are Me, Dana, and Shorty. They date friends of Handsome Man. The guys might have been friends first. But we have become crazy close in a ridiculously short amount of time. This is Dana's 21st Birthday party. Or at least the ride there. It didnt occur to anyone to roll up the windows going 95 MPH on the interstate.
These are those friends of Handsome Man I was telling you about. The one being carried is Bennett, he is engaged (?) to Shorty. The one in the yellow shorts is Rob, he belongs to Dana. They have been Handsome Man's friends longer than I've know him, but Bennett and I go way back, not in that dirty way. That's another story for another day. (PS Handsome Man is the one in the blue and they are carrying Bennett to Bit One's slip/n/slide)
I guess that is about it for now being that getting into the entire family would be very tedious and I'm kinda tired. Young toddler boys that get up at 6 am, like their fathers, do not mesh well with mommies who like to watch the Colbert Report and sleep until noon.
